Facts & Fiction - Stories and Previous Articles

In Facts & Fiction we aim to include every aspect of oral storytelling from the most high-brow and Arty to the silliest and most popular, plus anything else which seems relevant to the readership. There are always a few stories, although we are limited by space as to how long they can be, and, over a period, a wide range of articles which might cover individual stories, folklore, the experiences and/or concerns of storytellers, thoughts on the art of storytelling and a lot more. There are several (ir)regular series – Pete Meets is an interview with someone involved in storytelling: A Day in the Life (which could also be a week or a month or a tour…) is a diary of events in one teller’s career; The Tales That Made the Teller is about stories – very often books – which influenced people when they were growing up…
