Pete Castle at The Community Hall, Belper
Saturday 25th Sept at 8pm
Hosted by Belper Fringe
Pete Castle sings songs and tells
stories.
After surviving on a diet of Zoom for
the past 18 months Pete is looking forward to bringing a selection of
traditional songs and stories to you in a proper face to face, live
performance.
He has a few new ones to share with you
and will revisit some of his favourites.
At the end there will be a short Q/A
session.
CDs and books will be on sale including
his new book Folk Tales of Song & Dance which came out during the spring
lockdown.
BAR
The hall is large enough for sensible social distancing and you are welcome to wear a mask if you wish.
See Pete’s web site for more info: https://petecastle.co.uk
Tickets £5 from http://belperfringe.org/show-all.html
(Belper Community Hall is behind the old Library off Bridge St, DE56 1BA)
OTHER PETE CASTLE GIGS
August Bank Holiday weekend: Pete will be telling stories at a family holiday for a charity in the Hope Valley. It’s his first live gig for over 18 months and he’s looking forward to it. (And just hopes he can remember the stories!)
Then later in the year he has quite a rash of bookings for his Christmas show which he did on Zoom last year.
